Principal's Message
Dear families of Radcliff Elementary School,
I want to welcome you to another amazing school year! It is my privilege and honor to work with our dedicated staff and community to help provide the best educational experience for our students.
We recognize that each student is an individual who brings their unique talents and needs to school every day. We pride ourselves on providing opportunities and avenues for student support. We strive to create a culture that is Respectful, Empathetic, and Student-centered.
Each of us plays a part in helping our students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. As partners, we can make a difference. We look forward to working with you throughout the year to make important decisions that affect both your child as an individual, and the school as a whole. We hope you will attend our Parent Advisory Committee meetings and classroom/school-wide events.
We believe that communication is essential to our partnership. One of the ways we communicate at the school-wide level is through weekly dojo messages. Each Friday we share events from the past week, send out reminders, and provide information on upcoming events. A classroom communication tool that we use to keep parents informed is a “take home folder”. Information is categorized into “keep at home” and “return to school”. School staff can also be reached by phone or through email.
Radcliff Elementary is a wonderful learning community. We appreciate your trust in, and support of, our staff. We are excited to continue our mission: teaching students to persevere, to work cooperatively, and to be responsible, productive citizens.
We have high expectations for our students, and high expectations for ourselves. We are dedicated to improving student learning. We will continue to work together toward meeting the needs of all our learners through effective teaching strategies, aligned assessments, and data driven instruction. We are committed to student growth.
As we journey through this school year, I look forward to partnering with you to ensure all students are celebrated and supported.
Yours in Education,
Dan Mahon
